I was born and raised in WA. I married Jan in 1986. I lived in Canberra from 1987 to 2005.  For the first 11 years I was involved in pastoral ministry at a local church. Soon after we arrived in Canberra Amanda was born at Calvary Hospital. Amanda was then followed in two year intervals by Terry and Lincoln. 
My time in pastoral ministry ended in 1999. It was time to move on. In 2003 I started East to East Ministries. Since then I have visited Indonesia a many times. My heart is to do my bit to bless Indonesia. If you want to find out more look at the East to East Ministries part of this site.
I continue to 'stretch' myself with the 2 units I'm doing at Edith Cowan University. I have been getting a number of distinctions and high distinctions. Who said 'you can't teach old dogs new tricks'?
In 2010 I have ministered in Surabaya, Makassar, Aceh, Sorong, Timika, Biak, Jakarta, Palangkaraya, Malang, Ternate, 5 places in Halmahera, Tembagapura, 2 places in Lore Valley in Central Sulewesi, Palu, Semarang, Solo, Klaten, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Bandung, 2 places in Sumba, 3 places in Manado. I have also spoke in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. My January/February 2011 trip took me to Bali, Jakarta, Papua and Sumbawa - 4 towns. On 13 April, 2011, Jan and I celebrated 25 years of marriage. It's been a great journey.
After a big few months studying full time (I did 4 units & got HDs for all) and working it was off to Indonesia for all of July. It was a good time of ministry in Sumbawa, Timor, Bali and West Java.
